Michael Wright is director of music at Kingsley School, Bideford, and is a freelance bassist and guitarist. He trained at Birmingham Conservatoire and Middlesex University’s undergraduate jazz programs and has performed globally, working with many prominent jazz musicians. As an educator and researcher, he is involved with developing improvisation pedagogy for schools.
