Margherita Laera is the founder of Performing International Plays, a project that brings theatre (in) translation to secondary schools. In her day job, she is Senior Lecturer in Drama and Theatre and Deputy Head of the School of Arts and Architecture at the University of Kent. Her research explores the many intersections between theatre and translation. She is co-editor of the book series Theatre & and translates plays from and into English, Italian and French
