Jessica Swale is an Olivier Award-winning writer and director, working across theatre, film and television. Credits include Paddington: The Musical, Blue Stockings (now a GCSE Drama set text) and Nell Gwynn (Olivier Award for Best New Comedy and A-Level Drama set text). Films include Merv, Summerland and Horrible Histories: The Movie.

She is also the author of A Year of Creative Thinking and three books in the popular Drama Games series for Nick Hern Books.
