Chris has been an EdD student at Portsmouth University since October 2022 and is currently the Music curriculum leader within a secondary school and multi-academy trust. Drawing from his diverse background as a cruise ship entertainer, vocal/guitarist, and secondary Music teacher. His research interests lie in Music curriculum design, the impact of student input on curriculum development, and exploring the influence of informal Music pedagogies on classroom dynamics. Chris aspires to bridge his practical insights with scholarly research to advance the field of Music education.
