Charles Economou
Charles Economou first studied Mathematics at Cambridge University, but subsequently decided to make music his career. He has given many concerts as a solo pianist, accompanist and chamber musician, and his concerto performances have included Beethoven’s Emperor and the Ravel G major, while his solo recitals have presented a diverse repertoire ranging from Bach to modernist pieces such as the Boulez sonatas, alongside the great romantic works of Chopin, Schumann and Brahms.
