This session will show how to begin teaching and exploring Shakespeare with young people within a SEND setting. It will cover how to ‘begin’ and ‘close’ a lesson or rehearsal, working collaboratively, exploring story and character, and unpicking and celebrating Shakespeare’s language. The session will be dynamic and active, including non-verbal approaches and sensory practice.
