We are all storytellers | Storytelling Drama and literacy in Primary Schools

A practical drama session exploring the correlation between children’s skills and confidence as oral and physical storytellers and story makers, and their attainment in speaking and writing.

Learning Objectives:

  • Support children to develop their own ideas in the story making process
  • Use storytelling to develop empathy and problem solving from within a story
  • Help children increase their confidence and engagement for narrative writing
  • Explore themes and structures of traditional stories in a meaningful way.
