This seminar considers Ofsted's new inspection framework and how Drama could support character development through its curriculum and assessment.

- Understand the 'Personal development' section of the new Ofsted inspection framework
- Understand where and how Drama can support, lead and develop aspects of 'character education' through its curriculum design
- Critically engage with pedagogy and philosophies of drama education that influence curriculum design
- Understand the complexity of how to assess the more ephemeral aspects of process drama so as to comply with whole school assessment frameworks and reporting in an authentic way.
