English Folk Dance and Song Society
The English Folk Dance and Song Society is the national development agency for the folk arts. The Society runs the acclaimed National Youth Folk Ensemble. It supports folk artists with bursaries, showcases and commissions. Its national and local education programmes increase access to the folk arts and celebrate the diversity of 21st-century England. The Vaughan Williams Memorial Library’s digital archive, along with a Resource Bank of educational materials, are essential and completely free resources for anybody in the folk arts. The Society’s London HQ is Cecil Sharp House.
