I Can Compose

I Can Compose is an award-winning (UKRI and Music Teacher Awards) online platform for secondary-level classroom music teachers and their students.

We provide creative, structured online courses in different aspects of composition - ranging from ‘Theme & Variations’ and ‘Melody-writing’ to ‘Heroic Film Music’ and ‘How to Modulate’. Each course is built around a model composition which is broken down, lesson by lesson. Students can choose to follow the model closely or take the ideas in their own direction.
Course glossaries, exemplar listening, video content all included.
